RETREATS
Retreats are a powerful container for personal growth, sparking joy and re-connection in community. Every retreat I have been involved in, both as a student or as a teacher, has been transformational.
If you feel the call to nourish and nurture your practice, spend meaningful time with likeminded people, be totally held and cared for and make space for reflection, then click here to sign up to my next retreat!
Frequently asked questions:
Can I come alone? - YES! Most people come alone and leave with beautiful new friendships.
Do you cater for all dietary requirements? - YES! The food on offer is mostly plant based, but there will always be options for gluten free, dairy free, nut free. Upon signing up there is a form to fill in which asks you about any allergies or requirements. Our private chefs will make sure you’re catered for!
Are all classes/workshops compulsory? - No, nothing is compulsory - you’re on holiday! However, it is encouraged that you attend at least all morning classes. 2 hours may seem like a very long time for practice, but this is purely to give space for true exploration and integration.
Are yoga mats and props provided? - Yes! However if you have your own mat and would like to bring it, please do!
What style of yoga will be on offer? - Morning classes are a 2 hour blend of meditation, pranayama and vinyasa flow - dynamic and energising. Evening classes will be yin or restorative - so very gentle and introspective. There will be a couple optional workshops and conditioning style classes during the day times.
Do I have to have a strong/advanced practice to join a retreat? - No! You could be an absolute beginner and we would welcome you with open arms. Classes are open level, and there will be options for everyone. If in doubt, try coming to some of Sara’s in person or online classes prior to the retreat! Her online classes on Unite Yoga are a good place to start, and they do a 7 day free trial!
Will there be excursions or activities outside of the retreat venue? - This varies from retreat to retreat! If you hire a car you’re very welcome to explore as you please. Generally we get a feel for what the group want and need and go from there!
Will there be alcohol? - We won’t provide alcohol, other than on the final night as a little celebration.
