Mandala Vinyasa Workshop: Flow Into Winter
Join me on Friday 24th January for a 2 hour workshop designed to embrace the season of winter and explore the element of water.
Water reflects the depth and flow of life, and according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, is related to the season of winter – the most yin time of year.
Water is the strongest of all the elements yet it’s also the softest. This is a powerful time to remind ourselves that we can remain in the flow, lean into creativity and stay consistent, even when it’s colder and darker, and there is a call for more rest and introspection. By looking after ourselves in the winter, we ensure that when spring arrives, we can bloom with renewed energy.
This nourishing evening workshop will explore guided meditation and reflection, creative mandala vinyasa based around the water element and TCM meridian theory sprinkled throughout. The practice will close with yin, deep rest and a crystal bowl sound bath in savasana to integrate and cultivate inner stillness.
