Mandala Vinyasa Workshop:

BLOOM INTO SPRING

Join me on Friday 25th April for a 2 hour mandala vinyasa special, where we’ll focus on the season of spring and the element of Wood, through the lens of TCM.

In the winter, we let the body be still, quiet and introspective - charging the batteries and taking time to nourish our resources. When Spring arrives, we can begin to adjust our habits and perspective. Our internal dialogue is naturally telling us to get out there and enjoy life. The roots that have been dug deep into nourishing foundations can begin to rise up and bloom into the world. We start to bloom into our own potential and let our desires drive us forward.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the season of Spring relates to the element of wood and the liver/gallbladder meridians. The liver is seen as linked to growth and our ability to change, evolve and envision our future. When we feel stuck or unable to dream, it’s often because we have liver qi stagnation.

Through 2 hours of practice, exploring meditation, breathwork, creative mandala vinyasa and yin, we will open to pathways and bring balance to the wood element, so that we can bloom into spring with a literal spring in our step, awaken our dreams and cultivate confidence to implement positive change in our lives.

SOULFUL SUNDAYS AT STUDIO M

SUNDAY 27TH APRIL 1-2:30PM

Join me on Sunday 27th April for a soulful and inspiring afternoon of yoga and relaxation. This is the first edition of Soulful Sunday, and the theme is Yang to Yin.

Yang to Yin is a 'best of both' style practice. The first half is energising, creative and maybe a little sweaty. The second half is slow and restorative - holding deep stretches to  open and soften the body, before a long Savasana. This is the perfect Sunday reset, a chance to shake off the week that's been, say goodbye to Sunday Scaries and feel uplifted as we enter into a new week. 

These Soulful Sunday sessions will be 90 minutes long, and open to all. The extra time will simply allow for longer rest and integration. Each month we will explore a new theme or intention, and I promise you'll leave feeling uplifted and inspired for the week ahead. 

I can’t wait to share this practice with you, and the STUNNING and brand new studio that is Studio M.
